About Us
Rather than approaching human performance through motivation, ideology, or self-help culture, Meliora Systems & Publications approaches it as a systems problem.
Drawing from psychology, neuroscience, entrepreneurship, systems thinking, education, and decades of practical experimentation, Meliora explores how people can operate with greater clarity, resilience, and agency.
Our mission is simple: Help people think more clearly, act more deliberately, and build lives aligned with what matters most.
Founder of Meliora Systems and Publications
Erik Schimek
For more than three decades I've specialized in the earliest stage of company formation, where ideas become products and products become businesses. My work spans software architecture, politics, ecommerce, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, product strategy, fundraising, organizational design, and commercialization.
The question that eventually led to the development of Meliora over 35 years ago was simple:
Why do intelligent, capable people so often struggle to consistently execute on what they already know they should do?
Meliora emerged from decades spent exploring that question.
