About Us

Meliora Systems & Publications was incubated and stress-tested within the offices and extended network of Paleo f(x), the same crucible that served as a launching pad for VC-funded success stories like Serenity's Kids and Epic Bars. This is where Silicon Valley execution meets ancestral wisdom, where biohacking culture meets institutional-grade rigor.

Clean Code, Clean Ethics

We are a publishing house operating at the intersection of academic standards and startup velocity.

All published materials are intended to meet a standard of rigor consistent with well-documented oral histories and development logs, reflecting the practical realities of emerging frameworks while maintaining fidelity to observed outcomes. This is a practical, semi-professional standard designed for clarity and functional execution; it permits the use of plain language for effective communication.

The pioneers who mentored Erik didn't use the terminology of "biohacking" or "systems engineering," but it was the inherent subtext of their philosophy: speak the truth plainly and with authenticity, maintain radical integrity toward individuals, and remain subversive toward stagnant institutions.

The mission was always to find creative ways to operate within existing rules—to bend them back toward human needs and open protocols, while filtering out incoherent noise. We bring that same code of honor to Meliora.

Erik Schimek — Founder of Meliora Systems and Publishing

Erik Schimek is an engineer of solutions to systemic, intractable problems. His career has spanned technology journalism, custom furniture manufacturing, political campaign and event conference management, K-12 public education reform, and finally, the systems-level work that became Meliora.

The architecture underlying our publications was forged in the optimistic, pre-internet technology era of the late 1980s and early 1990s. This was the age of nascent digital systems, where pioneers would map out and explore technological frontiers for the sheer thrill of discovery. The underlying logic is simple: every system has code. That code can be discerned. And once discerned, it can be rewritten.

After receiving two terminal prognoses, Erik became a 10,000+ hour N-of-1 research project. Working with Dr. Lane Sebring, MD, he achieved documented neurological and immunological reversals. This is a biographical fact, not a medical claim: one person (N=1), working with his professionally licensed physician, achieved clinically observed changes through systematic application of principles he was simultaneously codifying.

Michelle Norris – CEO and Founder of Paleo f(x)

Michelle Norris has spent over a decade as the ultimate filter for the human performance industry. As the co-founder and CEO of Paleo f(x), the world's largest ancestral health and biohacking conference, she built the global platform for wellness innovation, curating the conversation for millions of seekers and top-tier performers. She is also the author of Primal Uprising, which diagnoses the systemic failure of modern wellness and argues that reclaiming personal sovereignty is the fundamental challenge of our time.

She has seen it all—every nootropic, every wearable, every breakthrough on the market. Through that decade of curation, she recognized a persistent bottleneck: most "solutions" were just adding data to a buggy system.

You can hear Michelle explain this herself in this video.

Michelle didn't just vet the Meliora protocol; she integrated it into her own life and companies as essential infrastructure. Having navigated the 2008 financial crisis and the profound personal tragedy of losing her daughter, Brittani, she developed a radical standard for what resilience actually looks like. She recognized Meliora as the missing infrastructure required to maintain sovereignty in an increasingly noisy world.

If Primal Uprising is the manual for human sovereignty, Meliora is the software. Michelle stepped in as CEO to bridge the gap between groundbreaking technical architecture and the global market—ensuring our work meets the rigorous standards of the world's most elite optimizers.

Cecilia Hernando-Doldan – International Media and Culture Hacker

Cecilia Hernando-Doldan is a high-level PR and strategy expert operating at the intersection of influence, culture, and execution. With an international career spanning Barcelona, Berlin, and the U.S., she has served as a primary bridge between global brands—including Louis Vuitton and the Tate National Gallery—and the cultural zeitgeist. She is a strategic connector within the movements currently expanding the boundaries of health, sovereignty, and personal autonomy.

Her expertise lies in narrative architecture: the ability to take frontier concepts and translate them for a sophisticated global audience. Notably, she played a key role in the "CBD Renaissance," successfully shifting the narrative of hemp and cannabis from the margins into the high-end luxury wellness sector.

Cecilia turned to the Meliora Activate protocol to solve a universal professional bottleneck: persistent internal static. Navigating high-stakes, multi-lingual environments across three continents requires cognitive clarity that standard productivity tools cannot provide. By aligning her internal mechanics with her external goals, she experienced a radical shift in personal synchronicity and an order-of-magnitude increase in her strategic impact.

She helps ensure that the creators of the new paradigm have the internal stability and signal strength required to achieve their goals.

Mark Alexander — Strategic Advisor

Mark Alexander, Chairman of ARX Fit and a key early member of the Paleo f(x) launch team, serves as a strategic advisor supporting our financial operations during the launch phase.

Mark is also a Limited Partner with the Veterans Fund VC group, bringing decades of operational and investment expertise to the Meliora team.
